I read this author a lot. What I liked about this book was it shows the author's versatility in his writing. Matt Iden is most commonly associated with stories involving Marty Singer. If you've not read any of those, I welcome you to interrogate.That said, I have to agree with the other reviewers that short stories are akin to the desert having been removed before it could be finished--i.e. I wanted more, but it was taken away when I left the table for whatever reason.
This author has the capability to make me laugh out loud at times and grip the arm of the chair at other times. I don't re-tell story lines in my reviews, but suffice it to say this effort is a true potpourri of Mr. Iden's many talents as a writer.

Very clever, well-written short stories. I will admit that I had to re-read one of them because I wasn't sure I caught the gist but all-in-all a great job by a fine author.
I got this book as a free download and I loved the collection of short stories. Each story was well written and held my attention with great characters and endings you never saw coming. Also I love the fact that you can easily read one story in a sitting. Great entertainment, I highly recommend it.
There were a couple of stories I didn't care for but the biggest part of the book I enjoyed very much, I really like this Author and I do recommend this book.

More good work from Matthew Iden. I hope he keeps them coming. This is a great collection of short stories, most with unique twists and turns. My only regrets are that several of them weren't developed into full-length novels.
... to the stories I read in the digests and mystery magazines of the 1950s. Derleth, Bloch, Bradbury. The twists at the end, like a knife in the back, or perhaps one which brings relief and a smile. I have yet to read Mr. Iden has written which I didn't like.
This book of really good short stories was well written and interesting with great characters. I've read everything that Matthew Iden has written and it's all great. I highly recommend this book and his Marty Singer series -- I'm impatiently waiting for the next one!
